In case you have not understood the gravity of the perceived threat that Ghana supposedly faces by accepting to host two former detainees from the Guantanamo Bay Prison in the United States, then you should perhaps take a listen to this audio. In the 12 minutes 26 seconds sound clip, a Lecturer in Islamic Studies at the Department of Religion and Human Values at the University of Cape Coast, Mustapha Hamid, explained that the jihadists’ ideology vis-à-vis the risk that could befall Ghana for accepting to host two alleged ‘terrorists’ believed to have repented.
Mr. Mustapha made his submissions when he appeared as a panelist on Citi FM’s news analysis and current affairs ‘programme, ‘The Big Issue’ on Saturday January 16, 2015, hosted by Umaru Sanda.
