The maiden edition of the Glitz Style Awards was one of glamour and style at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel on Saturday October 3.
It was a gathering of personalities of style who have pioneered their respective fields- movie, business or industry.
On the night, several personalities from the arts, radio, television, business and sports were awarded.
The Most Stylish Actress award went to Yvonne Nelson, whilst the Most Stylish Sports Personality went to Stephen Appiah.
The Best Individual Style award went to Wiyaala who beat both Kwasi Kyei Darkwah (KKD) and Emmanuel Owusu Bonsu (Wanlov).
The awards were aimed at strengthening Ghana’s fashion industry through development, promotion and setting international industry standard.
Ghana’s former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings was also honoured by Glitz Africa.
This year’s event was hosted by Naa Ashorkor with special performances from Irene Logan, Nana Yaa and Abena of MTN Hitmaker fame.
