Presidential staffer Samuel Bryan Buabeng is calling on the Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng to quit his job as the special prosecutor if he can’t stop demanding increment of salary.
If it will be recalled, just recently the Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng allegedly rejected a GH¢20,000 salary government wanted to pay as his salary because the amount was too small.
A report stated that Agyebeng is therefore demanding a personal salary and series of allowances more befitting of his status until which time he is refusing to take what was offered him by government.
This development comes months after it emerged that staff of the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) have not been paid salaries for months.
However, the Presidential staffer Samuel Bryan Buabeng feels the SP is trying to blackmail government to pay him salaries above what he is supposed to be paid.
He added that, SP is not supposed to tell the media that he has not still received his salary, however, he should’ve directed that to the Government.
He believes, the SP wants to sabotage the government by going to the Media.
He says the salary he is receiving as government appointee is better than what Anas was given him when he was his lawyer.
