A registration exercise for MPs-elect of the seventh parliament of the 4th Republic will be held next week, parliament’s Deputy Director of Public Affairs, Kate Addo, has revealed.
According to her, the exercise will take place in Committee Rooms 1 and 2 of the New Administration Block of Parliament House. It will start on December 19 and end on December 23 from 9.00am to 5.00pm each day.
“Members will be registered and issued with identification cards that will enable them to vote for the selection of a Speaker and other officials for the 7th Parliament,” she indicated on Tuesday, December 13.
She added that members who may wish to register online should visit the website of parliament – www.parliament.gh – and complete the process.
“Once satisfied with the accuracy of the information, the forms are to be printed out and the member’s signature appended to finally complete the process,” she concluded.
