Ashiley Yakubu, the Net 2 Television journalist who lost his life through Saturday’s Atomic Junction gas explosion has been laid to rest.
The funeral for the late presidential correspondent was held at Kasoa Denkyira in the Central Region on Tuesday, 10 October 2017 in line with Islamic customs and traditions.
The explosion, which occurred on Saturday, October 6 killed at least seven people and injured 132 others. Mr Yakubu fell to his death from a flyover when he was covering the explosion.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has promised to cater for all the funeral expenses.
