The maiden edition of Class Media Group’s ‘Accra Worship’ held at the Liberty Assemblies of God Church on Sunday, 27 August 2018, was a huge success.

There were spirit-filled performances from both veteran and young gospel artistes including Tagoe Sisters, Nhyira Betty, Francis Amoh, Selina Boateng, Rose Adjei, Ernest Opoku, Yaw Sarpong and the Asomafo Band.

 Patrons of all walks of life, were on their feet and knees for hours, worshiping God and dancing to great tunes during the praise time.


‘Accra Worship’ is powered by Class Media Group (CMG), owners of Accra-based Class91.3FM, Accra100.5FM as well as No. 1FM 105.3. The others units are Adehye3 99.1FM, Kumasi FM 104.1, Ho FM 92.5, and CTV. The event was emceed by Chief Jerry Forson, host of Accra FM’s morning show Ghana Yensom.

 The theme for the event was: “Oh give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good and His mercy endureth forever” – Psalm 136.


Patrons rushed for their phones to capture the Tagoe Sisters and Selina Boateng perform when they mounted the stage.


Francis Amoh, Nyhira Betty and Ernest Opoku brought the audience to tears with their worship to God, while Rose Adjei nearly brought the roof down with her powerful praises.


Yaw Sarpong, with his Asonafo Band, brought the show to an end with a solemn rendition of their hit songs interspersed with his own personal testimonies.


Some patrons who spoke with expressed satisfaction and urged management of CMG to make it a yearly event.
