Another boat disaster has occurred on the Volta Lake in Hausa Kope, resulting in the death of two persons.
An eyewitness, Ebenezer Ocansey, confirmed the news to ClassFMonline.com. He explained that the boat was on its way to Akuvi when it capsized following a heavy storm.
Ocansey added that four people out of the six were rescued by residents near the area where the accident occurred.
This is the second time in two months that a disaster has occurred on the Volta Lake. The earlier accident was at Yeji.
