The event which took place in Accra, Ghana was aimed at bringing together artiste and world leaders to achieve the policy agenda focused on empowering girls and women, defending the planet and creating change.

Lets’ watch how the president was booed when he was introduced to deliver his speech
The deputy communications’ director in an interview on Okay FM monitored by Voicefmonline.com reacting to the mockery said she feels it was the NDCs who are behind such actions of booing the president but then, to allow politics to take centre stage at such an event and single out the President unfairly for political point scoring raises serious concerns.
She further says that, to put it more bluntly, it is pure evil and utter disgrace for the NDC to organize its supporters to go and shout down the President the manner it happened.
“If we involve everything with Politics, this country will never move forward. Why am I saying this, in as much as I’m saying this is that you want to come to power does not mean you should disgrace the country”
“The world is watching in what is happening not only Africa and when we are done then you go hide a small space and arrange small boys to mock the president”
“it has become a norm in the country that when there is a minister, Vice President, President at an event then they arrange for the people to start clapping their hands with the popular slogan ‘away, away’ booing them. I think those people doing that lack home training”
