Barima No is a love letter to women, educating them on the tricks and games men employ to lure women.
The song has a melodious feel-good vibe laced with a rap masterpiece with beautiful instrumentation that will get even the elderly bumping their heads to.
Speaking on the inspiration for the track, Stephanie Benson said the song was to inspire women to be wary of the tall tales men tell, encouraging them that it’s OK for women to stand their ground and keep their heads up in demanding the respect they deserve as queens.
The Good Feeling hit maker stated that the artistic vision of Okyeame Kwame made him the right choice for the song, adding that his energy made him the right fit.
Barima No was produced by Magnom Beats, best known for hits like Sarkodie’s Illuminati and Edem’s Koene and Nyedzilo, among others, while the video was shot by renowned video director Gyo Gyimah of Famous Philms.
