The ride-hailing service was founded by Charles Nii Armah Mensah, 38, who commercialized its operations in December 2021 as part of his plans to provide a source of income for the youth in Ghana.
In a video post on Twitter, the company said it had rewarded Ebenezer Antwi popularly known as Dr Likee for his consolidated efforts to promote the brand.
“On behalf of shattawalegh the Shaxi team lead by @sambahflex @ms_daviz made a trip to Kumasi to welcome Mr. Ebenezer Antwi a.k.a Dr.Likee @RasNeneOfficial to the Shaxi family as our newest brand ambassador. His hard work, dedication, and passion has not gone unnoticed,” the post said
Sharing the news of his new ambassadorial role on Instagram, Ras Nene said he was grateful to Shatta Wale, Medikal, and Shaxi team for the gesture.
“Thank you @shattawalenima , @amgmedikal & @shaxiofficial.gh team, I appreciate 🙏🙏. May the good lord bless you for all what you have done for me. We will continue to push the brand @shaxiofficial.gh to another level,” he posted.
