Tinny Aletse known in real life as Nii Addo Quaynor, has revealed that, he was the first person to sign self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale to his record label, Badman Family Records.
The ‘Kankpe’ hitmaker told Dr Kay on Accra 100.5FM’s drive time show that: “I’m not blowing my horn but Shatta Wale was the first artiste to have been signed onto my record label, Bad man Family, he will attest to that fact.
“We’ve been good and still good since then and I don’t think something can separate us. Sometimes the fans don’t get it straight and it is funny,” he said.
Tinny also said, he wants $1million before he can give information on why Wisa insulted him.
Wisa, two years ago in an interview with Eddy Blay on ETV’s Late Night Celebrity Show said, he doesn’t respect Tinny because Tinny once told him trash and he (Wisa) did same to him.
“I can’t just wake up one morning and start dissing Tinny. If he respects himself, he will respect those of us coming up. I come from Labadi and that’s where I rep so if you are an Osu boy and you come to Labadi, you’ll have to respect us. You can’t disrespect us and expect us to respect you,” Wisa said during the interview.
“Tinny disrespected me. Apaatse and Tinny did a song and insulted me with some of the lyrics. And this same person says he is a legend?”
But responding to this, Tinny told Dr Kay that: “Before I answer the question as to what brought the beef between Myself and Wisa, I need the same amount of money Zylofon used to sign Shatta Wale before I answer this question, Accra FM must give me this money and I would go live on Facebook for my fans to see me telling the truth,” he added.
