Ghanaian musician, Dennis Nana Kwaku Dwamena, also known in the entertainment industry as Kidi, has said with or without the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, he will continue to excel in his music career.
He told DJ Premier on Entertainment Capital on Accra 100.5FM on Saturday, 12 January 2018, that: “I say this and I’ll always say it, you know as an artist I have a bigger vision than awards. I do music because I love it and I’m trying to reach out to a lot of people. Along the way if I get an award, glory be to God.
“If I do music solely for an award then I’m doomed because if I don’t get an award then what am I doing and where am I going because award isn’t everything.”
According to him, he will appreciate it if the VGMA board thinks he deserves an award but if he does not get an award, nothing will stop him from doing music.
The MTN Hitmaker is hoping to receive the massive support from his fans and Ghanaians in general like they did for “Odo” and “Say You Love Me” whiles preparing to release his third single which is being recorded.
