Ajax star Mohammed Kudus is on the verge of sealing a move to Premier League club West Ham United with his medical booked on Saturday.
After a series of negotiations, the Hammers have struck a deal worth a total package of €45mincluding add-ons and a sell-on clause with the Dutch giants and have subsequently agreed on personal terms with the talented attacking midfielder who is expected to sign a five-year contract.
Kudus had earlier hinted at moving away from Ajax after last night’s remarkable display in the UEFA Europa League clash between Ludogorerts and Ajax.
The Black Stars player scored a hattrick to inspire Ajax to a resounding first-leg win over the Romanian giants as they thumped their opponents 4-1.
Kudus after the game said: “Yes, I think it was my final game here at Ajax. But let’s see what happens in the next day.
“The talks are going on. We have to see if an agreement is reached in the next days”, he said.
West Ham seem to have beaten off competition from Chelsea, Brighton and Hove Albion, and Arsenal for the signing of Mohammed Kudus.
He is expected to add more firepower upfront buttressing the efforts of the likes of Lucas Paqueta and Michail Antonio.
In the ongoing campaign, Kudus has already scored four goals in all competitions for Ajax providing one assist adding to his already impressive numbers from last season where he scored 17 goals for Ajax.
He has also been a phenomenal figure for Ghana having shined at the 2022 World Cup scoring a brace to inspire the Black Dtars to their only win of the tournament.
