A Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) has said the party will not relent in its quest to win the 2024 election.
Mustapha Gbande has said he will not mind if it will take his blood for the NDC to be sworn in as the next government in January 2025.
Mr Gbande made the declaration on Asempa FM Ekosii Sen, programme Wednesday stating the NDC is actively campaigning to win the election.
“If it’ll take my blood to ensure NPP is not in power in 2025; we will do so. We are actively working to achieve that because the NPP is not on the ground.
“Apart from following Napo and Bawumia around, they are not doing anything. Let any NPP executive show me evidence that they are working,” he stated.
He was confident the efforts of the NDC outweigh the New Patriotic Party(NPP) which gives them an upper hand in the December 7 polls.
Mustapha further cited that concerns raised by NPP General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua that some government appointees have lost touch with their base is evident.
“The NPP General Secretary confirmed it so the party is hanging. The NDC go through the same pain as the NPP but we will not sit and watch for our appointees to disgrace the NDC in this manner.
“Some people want to work smart and others hard but I will work hard and touch base with the grassroots. But in as much has knowledge has failed the NPP, they must be guided by wisdom and not do anything that will bring problem in Ghana,” he stated.
