A management team of the bank led by its Board Chairperson, Betty Zormelo, disclosed this when it paid a courtesy call on President Nana Akufo-Addo.
Addressing the President, CEO of the bank, John Awuah, said the bank had already set up a department that would be solely responsible for assisting and financing anyone who will be interested in developing or building a factory in the country.
The President described the announcement as one of his birthday gifts coming from a bank this time round and said it was welcome news to him and his government.
He tasked the Trade and Industry Ministry to strongly partner the bank to ensure that the product of the bank is harnessed by interested businesses who buy into the one district, one factory vision of the government.
