The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) on Wednesday, 31 May elected new officials at its congress at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Stadium in Accra.
Incumbent Peter Zwennes retained his seat unopposed as president while Ekow Mainly-Spain polled 47 votes to Rabon Dodoo’s 29 votes to win the position of 1st Vice President.
Abraham Nii Kwei was elected as Second Vice President.
Carl Lokko, Alhaji Tofiq Murtala, Alhaji Moshud Zaid, and Lord Isaac Kpakpo Acquaye were elected onto the Executive Board.
Former Ghanaian cruiserweight boxer Napoleon Tagoe expressed satisfaction with the elected executives and charged them to be efficient in their duties.
