The lady in the viral photo which a pastor was supposedly taking off her panty in a church has finally spoken.
The young woman identified as Piesie Asamoah Gifty is an actress who has starred in both Nollywood and Ghanaian movies.
In an interview with Ghanaweb’s Bernice Owusuwaa, she revealed that she did that as a form of sacrifice.
“Acting is a form of evangelism. So far as you are an actress, you should be ready to sacrifice; so what I did in the movie was to sacrifice for the innocent ones”.
She added that women are mostly the victims that suffer from these fake prophets and pastors.
She emphasized that an actor is no different from an Evangelist because both do the same work.
To her, actors use their medium to reach a huge number of people.
She has also cautioned non-Christians to stop using the photos as a tool in mocking Christians.
‘It is a movie not a church as some people are saying, pls stop spreading false news. I am an actress and it is my work to give practical education to the world,’ she revealed on her Facebook page
The movie Pastor Blinks have been released and is yet to be premiered at the Global Cinemas.
Meanwhile, Founder of the Perez Chapel International has condemned the photos; he said it is ungodly and unbiblical for pastors to touch or fondle the genitalia of church members whom they lay hands on for healing and other miracles.
He continued that such pastors only take advantage of their church members.
Bishop Agyinasare warned that if the trend is not checked, it could spell doom for Ghana and the Christian community.
