Management member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Thomas Boakye Agyemang has said that Kotoko have what it takes to crash out CARA Brazzaville in the second league of the CAF Confederations Cup.
The Brazzaville-based side will play Kotoko at the Stade Alphonse Massamba Debat on 21 February 2018.
With a slight advantage ahead of the clash after squandering three penalties in the first leg, the FA Cup champions will be hoping to get good results.
“We are going to Brazzaville with an ambition of beating them but I know they [CARA] will attack us but we don’t have to sit at the back without scoring,” Mr Agyemang told Class Sports on Monday, 19 February. ‘
He continued : “They need to attack us and that is what we also have to plan for because we believe Steve Pollack and Akakpo Patron have what it takes to eliminate CARA out of the competition.
“The players are well positioned and they have everything that they need and the best thing the players need to do is to win for these million supporters and Ghana in general and I know the players are ready for that,” he added.
