Accra Hearts of Oak board member Frank Nelson has dismissed reports the club has settled on businessman Kempes Papa Nii Ofosuware as the new Managing Director of the club.
The post has been vacant since Vincent Sowah Odotei was elected Member of Parliament by the constituents of La Dadekotopon.
Reports circulated, particularly on social media, that Mr Ofosuware had been appointed the new boss of Ghana’s oldest football club.
However, Mr Nelson, who is also a member of the Strategic Committee, has told Class Sports, that no such appointment has been made by the club.
He said: “I don’t think Hearts does appointment in the blind or in the darkness. There is a structure and as a member of the board, a shareholder and a representative of the Strategic Committee, I can tell you no one has done any appointment though people may express interest in the post.”
