As an annual ritual, the Western Union has rewarded 100 clients in this year’s unique promotion – ‘Talk For Free’. Customers were presented with smart phones, accessories and free airtime instead of the usual shopping spree that has characterized previous Western Union end of year promotions.
The first 100 winners of its annual Year End Promotion was held a short ceremony at the old head office of Agricultural Development Bank (ADB). Another batch of 100 lucky winners will be presented with their prizes later this week.
To win a prize, every Western Union transaction warranted a draw coupon that was entered into a first draw to select the 100 customers, then a second draw will be held to select the second 100. Several prize winners thanked Western Union for their prizes and encouraged people to remit money through Western Union, since the service is reliable, fast and convenient.
“I am very happy for this prize. It shows that Western Union thinks about its customers. I am urging all Ghanaians to advise their families and friends who send them money to use Western Union because their services are so good,” Francisca Luka said with excitement.
According to Western Union, this promotion is to make customers feel appreciated for making the company their preferred money transfer service and also attract potential customers to the Western Union brand.
