The Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has stated that the current hardship in the country is caused by both President Nana Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
He emphasized that a vote for Bawumia is essentially a vote for Nana Akufo-Addo’s third term in office.
According to Mahama, the country has been under massive pressure over the past eight years, with significant increases in fuel prices, the cost of cement, and the exchange rate, where one dollar now equals GHC 16.
He says that anyone in Ghana who votes for Bawumia is effectively bringing Nana Addo back to power, as there is no difference between the two.
Angel News Mubarak Yakubu has been reporting that former President John Mahama emphasized the severe hardship in the country, which has caused widespread suffering among the people of Ghana.
He urged the people of Pokuase during his Greater Accra Regional Tour not to vote for Dr. Bawumia and the NPP.
Mahama further explained that the NPP wants to bring Bawumia into power to cover up the corrupt deeds they have committed.
He added that the goal is to allow those who have stolen government funds to go home and enjoy their ill-gotten wealth.
He concluded by stating that the only party capable of holding the NPP accountable is the NDC, and he called on all Ghanaians to vote for the NDC so they can ensure accountability.
