The Accra Regional Police Command has secured an injunction to restrain pressure group, Let My Vote Count Alliance from picketing at the premises at the Electoral Commission (EC).
The Police met the group in a similar demonstration with brute force, ending the march abruptly last week.
This was after the demonstrators attempted to veer of the agreed routes, which did not include the premises of the EC.
Some of the demonstrators were whipped with canes and batons amidst teargas, while others were arrested in the process.
Following the unexpected end to the demonstration, the organisers fixed another date; 29th September to picket at the EC offices.

But the Police has secured another restraining order to prevent the demonstrators from doing so, ostensibly because the EC premises is a security zone.
The National Coordinator for the group, David Asante has told Citi News, despite attempts by the Police to prevent the, the demonstration will still come on.
According to him, they are not happy with the tactics the Police is employing as they prepare for their march.
He told Citi News that the Police advised them to change the date for the demonstration from 22nd September to 29th September and just when they were prepared to send an official letter, the Police resorted to the court to secure an injunction.
“Upon our arrival, we realised the Police had already rushed ahead of us to secure that injunction, not to stop us, but to restrain us from occupying or picketing at the Electoral Commission. We found it very interesting because, why would the Police even move ahead of us prior to our arrival at their office to submit our letter,” he complained.
