Prophet Reindorf Oduro Gyebi, founder of the God’s Crown Chapel in Daaban, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, prophesied the Kintampo Waterfall accident that has killed 18 students a week ago.
In one of his sermons on Kumasi-based Abusua FM, captured on a video recording, he said: “I have seen in a vision that a school is about to embark on an accident to Kintampo Waterfalls, but they had an accident and all of them died. I want them to cancel the trip or postpone it…”
Prophet Gyebi, in a follow-up interview with Chief Jerry Forson, host of Ghana Yensom, on Accra100.5FM on Monday 20 March, confirmed the accident that occurred was orchestrated by demonic spirits and that there was going to be more of such calamities, a situation which requires that the Christian Council of Ghana organise national prayers to help avert those calamities.
He said: “It is unfortunate that this accident happened this way and innocent school children have lost their lives. Let me say that what happened was demonic. Some bad spirits were behind it.
“Let me add that there is going to be another calamity in Ghana that will kill several people and so there is the need for the Christian Council to declare a national prayer to prevent it.”
