Chief Policy Analyst, Ghana Institute of Public Policy Options, Dr Charles Wereko-Brobby says the president of Ghana Nana Akuffo Addo nearly pierced his eyes with his finger at a funeral for criticizing the NPP government
In an interview with Asempa FM political show monitored by Voicefmonline.com, Dr Wereko-Brobbey said he has been friends with Nana Addo before politics but he does not see why the president will be taking things personal when something is going wrong in his government.
“We’ve been brothers before coming into politics. I won’t put out about what I have advised him on, confidentiality is important.”
He further explained that he once granted an interview at Joy FM that didn’t go well with the president for censuring his government. He says the president upon hearing the interview took it personal.
“If you could remember I had an interview with Joy FM that was when I met him, he nearly pierced my eye with his fingers If I didn’t go back”
Rendering to him, He said he met the president at a funeral and the president nearly pierced his eyes with his fingers when he approached him so he is no longer advising him when things are going wrong in his governance.
He says if people are in doubt, they can ask the Chief of Staff and Dr Akoto Afriyie who were all present
