The Universal Merchant Bank (UMB) has opened a Centre for Business in Kasoa in the Central Region.
This brings the number to three centres nationwide after the first two centres were opened in Ashtown, Kumasi, and the second in Madina, Accra respectively.
The Kasoa centre was chosen as a strategic location to absorb the vibrant business sector in Kasoa and to leverage on the area’s diverse commercial activity.
Chief Executive Officer of UMB, John Awuah, explained: “Kasoa is a rapidly growing city with lots of viable businesses and we intend to help further the growth of this dynamic city through the addition of the UMB Centre for Businesses to facilitate acceleration in their growth plans.”
The bank’s Director of Consumer and Business Banking, Kevin Cain, commented: “The bank is on course to transform the banking experience in Ghana by providing pioneering banking solutions such as the UMB Centre for Business.”
He further noted that “the Kasoa UMB Centre for Business will further deepen the bank’s financial inclusion agenda and play a facilitating role in growing the businesses of SMEs”.
