The Black Starlets of Ghana have been drawn in the same group with hosts Madagascar, Guinea, and Cameroon in the 2017 African U-17 Championships.
A draw for the final tournament, which was held on Monday, 24 October, at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, saw the two-time winners of the competition placed in Group A.
Defending champions Mali are in Group B with Congo, Angola and Niger, as all eight teams seek a place in the semi-finals of the tournament.
Ghana qualified to the tournament after beating Burkina Faso and Cote d’Ivoire in the qualifying matches.
Ghana could qualify to the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup to be staged in India if they manage to make it to the semi-finals of the tournament.
The tournament will run from April 2-16 in Madagascar.
