Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has reported to the Black Stars camp ahead of the game against Madagascar.
The deputy captain was the 25th player to join the camp after the team converged at the Alisa Hotel on Monday.
22 out of the 25 players who were handed call-ups trained at the Accra Sports stadium on Monday with Partey, Gideon Mensah and Hafiz Konkoni missing out.
Partey left the UK on Monday and arrived in Accra on Tuesday dawn. He has joined the rest of the Black Stars squad at the Alisa Hotel and will train with the team later on Tuesday at 4:30 pm at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The midfielder, who turns 30 today, was part of the Arsenal team that came close to winning their first Premier League title in 19 years.
Partey was an unused substitute in Ghana’s last game against Angola due to precautionary measures after picking up a small injury.
Ghana will face Madagascar on Sunday knowing a win will secure a place at next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
