One person has been reported dead in an accident involving the convoy of former first lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings on the Techiman road in the Brong Ahafo Region.
According to reports, Mrs Rawlings was unhurt but eight other people were injured in in the clash which happened on Tuesday morning.
The National Democratic Party flag bearer and her team were travelling from Techiman to Kumasi when one of her vehicles collided with an oncoming other vehicle.
The injured were rushed to the Holy Family Hospital in Techiman for treatment.
