Ghanaian international soul, pop and jazz singer, Stephanie Benson, celebrated her 50th birthday with a mega party at the Twist Nightclub in Accra on Thursday, 17 August 2017.
The well-attended birthday bash, was emceed by none other than ace showbiz icon and TV/ radio personality, Kwasi Kyei Darkwa (KKD).
The celebrated songstress celebrated her golden jubilee with her husband and five children (who travelled from England for the occasion) and selected friends.
There were live band performances from dancehall artiste Samini, Irene Logan, Raquel, Yaaya, highlife legend Ben Brako, Akosua Agyapong (Stephanie Benson’s kid sister), Trigmatic, Zeal (formerly known as Lazzy of the VVIP group), and a host of others.
Also present was award-winning actress Joselyn Dumas, Movie producer and director Shirley Frimpong-Manso, TV personalities Kafui Dey and Baisiwa Dowuona-Hammond, amongst others.
DJ for the night was Andy Dosty.
Stephanie Benson used the occasion to premier the video of her latest song featuring Samini titled ‘One More’.
The sexually stimulating video got tongues wagging and the audience screaming as the two were seen in various romantic gestures.
