The Ministry of Youth and Sports has lauded Justice Anin-Yeboah on his appointment as Chair of FIFA’s Disciplinary Committee.
Justice Anin-Yeboah secured 98 per cent of votes to secure the appointment.
The ministry said in a statement: “As an astute justice of the Supreme Court and having served on FIFA’s Ethics Committee, we believe your immense knowledge of the laws and the game of football will hugely be brought to bear on your new position and further consolidate Ghana’s pedigree and enormous contributions in world football.”
Before this feat, Justice Anin-Yeboah was a member of the FIFA Ethics Committee. He was on the Disciplinary and Appeals committees of the Ghana Football Association and also served on the Appeals Committee of the Confederation of African Football.
He will serve on the adjudicatory chamber of the FIFA Ethics committee for the next four years.
