The Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Music Rights Organisation, (GHAMBRO), Prince Tsegah, has disclosed that Shatta Wale submitted incomplete documents when he put in an application to demand his royalties.
His comment comes after Shatta Wale, in a Facebook post on Wednesday May 3, threatened to take the organisation on if royalties due him were not paid.
He wrote on his timeline: “GHAMRO, are you ready to pay my royalties or you want me to go haywire!!”
In response to Shatta Wale’s threat, Mr Tsegah told Ray Charles Marfo in an interview on Showbiz Arena on Adehye99.1FM that the award-winning artiste’s royalty was ready except that his documents were not properly filled.
“He has submitted his works but Socrates didn’t complete the forms adequately, so we don’t have his account details… But we are trying to reach him for further and better particulars to officially complete the process. As we speak, his cash is available,” he said.
