He is the football superstar rumoured to have sired his first son Cristiano Jr via surrogacy back in 2010.
And now a source has told The Sun that Cristiano Ronaldo is set to father “twin baby boys” by a surrogate mother in the USA – who is said to be due “very soon”.
The news comes as the 32-year-old Real Madrid forward continues to date and appear publicly with Spanish model Georgina Rodriguez, 23.
On Saturday, The Sun reported that a source close to Cristiano said he had told his inner circle he would fly his baby twins to his £5million mansion on the outskirts of Madrid when they are born.
The source said: “Cristiano and his family can’t wait to meet the new members of their clan.
“He likes to keep a tight lid on his private life but has told loved ones and close friends the baby boys are due to arrive very soon.”
The source reportedly said that the family do not know the identity of the mother of the twins.
He added: “[Cristiano] feels the time is right for his boy to have brothers to grow up with.”
Parallels could be drawn with the mystery surrounding the mother of Cristiano Jr, who lived in San Diego and was allegedly paid £10million by the footballer – but whose name has never been revealed.
Before he met Georgina, Cristiano dated Russian model Irina Shayk, but the couple did not have any children together.
In January, Georgina and Cristiano made their red carpet debut as they stepped out with the Cristiano Jr to attend the FIFA Football Awards in Zurich.
And the model was snapped having fun with the young boy and giving him caring attention at a recent Real Madrid game.
Cristiano is apparently proud of his son, posting several pictures to social media of the pair despite generally keeping his private life to himself.
At the end of January the star posted a father-son shot to Instagram with a Cristiano Jr, where his son looked incredibly similar to his famous dad.
Both had swept, gelled black hair and natural pose on camera, and Ronaldo Sr cheekily captioned the snap “perfect couple” with a couple of love heart emojis.
Within days it had raked in over millions of likes, including from famous sporting names such as John Terry and Anthony Joshua.
Georgina is reported to have worked at a Gucci store in Madrid and as a nanny in Bristol before embarking on her new romance.
The pair are believed to have met after she caught Cristiano’s eye in the VIP section of a recent Dolce & Gabbana party.
It is said that they dated in secret for a few months, before going public with their romance by enjoying a date at Disneyland Paris in November.
And since then they have been seen going on several dates in and around Madrid – though their social media interaction has been minimal.
The couple have gone from strength to strength, with Cristiano poking fun at his girlfriend last month by commenting on a post of Georgina with her former colleague Alvaro Callado.
Georgina worked with Alvaro at Gucci and various Instagram posts suggest they share a close friendship.
With hundreds of people tagging the Real Madrid star in their comments, Ronaldo finally responded with the word “Cuidado” meaning “Careful”, but he accompanied it with three laughing emojis to make it clear he was joking.
