Ghana’s female judoka Szandra Szogedi will compete in the Women’s 62kg event on Tuesday August 9 at the ongoing Olympic Games in Rio.
The Hungarian-born athlete remains one of Ghana’s medal hopefuls following her immense performance in previous competitions.
Ghana will be expecting to draw inspiration from the highly-rated judoka, following 14-year-old Kaya Forson’s failure to qualify in the Women’s 200m freestyle event in the swimming competition on Monday August 8.
