The National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, Joseph Yamin is demanding the immediate arrest of the National Executive Council member of the National Cathedral Secretariat, Reverend Kusi Boateng.
According to Joseph Yamin, Rev. Kusi Boateng has been engaging in conflict of interest and being in possession of multiple identities as well as engaging in other alleged criminal dealings.
Joseph Yamin explaining the reason he thinks Inspector General of Police should arrest Rev. Kusi Boateng is that the religious leader has been issued with a diplomatic passport which he finds very disturbing.
He says if Rev. Kusi Boateng is having diplomatic Passport in the name of Adu Gyamfi then it means that he will be having ordinary passport bearing the name Adu Gyamfi which is the criminal aspect and the IGP must get him arrested.
He further explains that he is surprise IGP has not yet picked Rev. Kusi Boateng for the reason that this is more than armed robbery case and therefore he should be picked as notorious armed robber.
“I’m surprise IGP hasn’t arrested Rev. Kusi Boateng yet, IGP has shocked me and my respect for him is going down because this is more than armed robbery, in fact Rev Kusi Boateng should be picked as notorious armed robber in the country.”
“Okudzeto Ablakwa needs to be given a heroes’ award for exposing someone like Rev Kusi or Mr Adu Gyamfi.”
“If Rev Kusi Boateng is having a diplomatic passport in the name of Adu Gyamfi, it means that he is having ordinary passport bearing the name Adu Gyamfi which and that is the criminal aspect that Dampare needs to go and pick him”
The National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, Joseph Yamin says the man of God is not qualified to hold a diplomatic passport.
He added that the diplomatic passport is not just an ordinary passport that should be issued to anybody, however, been on the board of trustees does not mean he is entitled to Article 71.
He says he will not see Dr Akufo Dampare as an IGP if he does not go and arrest Rev Kusi Boafo
