Black Stars first choice goalkeeper Razak Brimah lost his automatic starting role at Cordoba for their Copa del Rey home loss against fellow lower-tier side Lugo on Wednesday evening.
The 28-year-old was included in the Cordoba squad for the game but manager José Luis Oltra settled on Spanish glovesman Ismael Falcón to start in post and his side lost the game.
Brimah, who was in post for Ghana on Saturday for the 2017 AFCON qualifying victory over Rwanda, is expected to reclaim his spot for the weekend when Cordoba travel to face Real Zaragoza in the Segunda Division.
He has started two out of Cordoba’s three league games since the start of the Segunda campaign.
