The Electoral Commission held the balloting for presidential candidates taking part in the 7 December polls on Wednesday.
Below is the positions taking by the seven candidates:
CPP – 1ST
NDP – 2ND
NDC – 3RD
PPP – 4TH
NPP – 5TH
PNC – 6TH
JOY – 7TH
On October 20, the EC did the balloting for parliamentary aspirants. The governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) occupied the third position while the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) took the 5th spot.
At the balloting exercise held at the office of the Electoral Commission, the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP) got the first spot while the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) got the second position.
The United Progressive Party (UPP), National Democratic Party (NDP), and the Independent People’s Party (IPP) got the fourth, sixth and seventh positions respectively.
The balloting for the presidential race has been put on hold due to an injunction placed on the process by some aggrieved political parties whose flag bearers have been disqualified from the race.

4. UPP
5. NPP
6. NDP
