The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) has disclosed that it will continue its drive towards winning the 2016 elections with another Don’t Waste Your Vote on Those Who Have Disappointed You presidential campaign.
From September 10, the flag bearer of the party, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, is expected to take his electioneering to the Central Region where he will focus on job creation, education, and also tout his personal contributions to the development of the region.
Dr Nduom, who is also the Chairman of Groupe Nduom – a business conglomerate comprising over 50 businesses across the globe – has been emphasising his ability to create jobs and turn the fortunes of the country around.
He will be at Komenda on September 10, Elmina on September 11, and Cape Coast North on September 12.
The business consultant will proceed to Effutu, Mfantseman, Asebu, and Cape Coast South on September 13. The three-time presidential aspirant, who will be taking a last shot at the presidency, is expected in Assin North, Twifo Atti Morkwa, and Hemang Lower Denkyira constituencies on September 14. He is expected to complete the tour with a visit to Apam and Kasoa on September 15.
While Dr Nduom is in the Central Region, a separate team led by the party’s vice-presidential nominee, Brigitte Dzogbenuku, will be in the Western Region. Another team led by the PPP’s National Chairman, Nii Allotey Brew-Hammond, will be in the Brong Ahafo Region.
