Asante Kotoko Coach, Steve Pollack has expressed satisfaction over the victory of CARA Club of Brazzaville in the CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
The Porcupine Warriors began the Africa campaign with a slim win when the two sides clashed on Sunday, February 11.
After Saddick Adams, Amos Frimpong and Baba Mahama failed to put the ball at the back of the net through penalties awarded to Kotoko, substitute, Yakubu Mohammed converted another late penalty for the FA Cup Champions.
However, Pollack is convinced the Porcupine Warriors will progress to the next stage.
“I’m satisfied with the performance. It’s been a long time since we played like that and I thought we played some good football.
“Some of you might say this opposition are weak but even if they are not at that good level, I think the intensity of our game was really good.”
“I’m I happy with the 1-0? No, but we have to be satisfied, that’s the way it is, so I look at it, it’s just the first half so we have the second half in ten days to come,” ,” he told Class Sports on Monday.
