Asante Kotoko coach Steven Polack has expressed his dissatisfaction with some moments of poor showing from his side despite their 2-1 victory over Wa All Stars on Saturday.
Kotoko recorded their second win in four games – the second time the team had won under coach Polack after taking over the reins of the club in May.
The record champions have found some margin of consistency under the English trainer.
Polack, in his post-match remarks, gave a reminder of his quest for near perfection, pointing out to defensive weaknesses and loss of concentration that nearly cost the side victory.
“The performance was a good one in either half of the game and overall we deserved it [the victory]. We made a few mistakes and I guess we need to analyse and sort it out before our next league game [against Ebusua Dwarfs],” he said.
“I am happy we scored two goals but not [happy] with the goal conceded and the chances they created in front of goal was from our mistakes.”
Kotoko next play away to high-flying Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs – a side they lost 4-1 to during the 2015/16 season.
