Scores of parents whose wards have completed basic education marched to the Ministry of Education to have issues regarding senior high school placements resolved.
This follows some challenges associated with the internet-based Computerized School Selection Placement Secretariat (CSSPS) as some of the parents explained that they have been having problems completing the process.
Rev Anim, a worried parent, told Class FM on Tuesday, September 5 that his son had aggregate nine but he is yet to get a school, while another student with worse grades was placed to his first choice school, making him wonder how the school placement is done by the system.
Meanwhile, the ministry has assured the public that officials are working to address all challenges associated with the computerised placement system.
