If you thought Cardi B and Offset were on the rocks, well, you’d be sort of correct. Except, the couple went for a different kind of “rocks.”
During a performance at a sold-out crowd for Power 99’s Powerhouse in Philadelphia, the crowd went crazy as Offset approached Cardi and got on one knee. He then presented her with a diamond ring and the two embraced after Cardi gave an immediate “YES!”
Right after the proposal, Cardi B was dancing with excitement and happily put the ring on. She later took to Instagram to write a message about her memorable night.
“Jesus Christ I’m so emotional, @offsetyrn I loveee you so much,” she captioned under a pic of her displaying her new ring. “Thank you for seeing the potential in me since you met me .For giving me advice molding me and loving me .Your such a amazing man to me your family ,friends ,kids and you are extremely talented.I can’t wait to spend FOREVAAAA with you .Lets make a lot shmoney and love together.”
Previously, it was rumored that the couple was engaged, however at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards Pre-Show, she kind of diffused rumors by saying, “I’m a woman. Every woman, I think, wants to get married and wants to have children. It’s never too early to get married now. You know, if you want to propose to me, you can.”
Things got even more complicated earlier this week when Cardi announced that she was “single.” The whole thing was rectified hours later when she explained that the situation was a misunderstanding.
