Members and supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will today Sunday December 18 hold a thanksgiving service at the Accra Sports Stadium to thank God for the party’s victory in the just-ended presidential and parliamentary elections.
The event is being organised under the patronage of President-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The inter-denominational thanksgiving service is on the theme: ‘Psalm 20 vs 5: We will rejoice in thy salvation and in the name of our God. We will set up our banners. The Lord fulfil all thy petition.’
In attendance will be Vice President-elect Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, all NPP Members of Parliament-elect, and the leadership of the party.
According to the NPP, the event is opened to the general public to thank God and seek His blessings for the incoming administration.
