The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has, appointed seven directors and 20 deputy national officers to complement national executives who were elected at the party’s recent national delegates’ conference held in Koforidua in the Eastern Region.
A statement signed and issued in Accra by the General Secretary of the party, Mr John Boadu, said the appointments were made following a joint National Council and National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting last Wednesday.
Director of Communications
The statement said the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Adentan Constituency, Yaw Boaben Asamoah, has been appointed as Director of Communications while Mr Evans Nimako was named as the Director of Research and Elections.
Mr Collins Nuamah becomes the Director of Finance and Administration with Mr Emmanuel Attafuah-Danso heading International Affairs as its director.
The Director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) went to Mr Eric Ntori, with Mr Kwadwo Afari being appointed as Director of Protocols while Mr Antwi Adjei was also appointed as Senior Political Advisor.
Some deputies
Maxwell Lugudor and Elvis Botah were appointed as Deputy General Secretaries while the two deputies to the National Women’s Organiser went to Justina Awo Banahene and Hajia Sawudatu.
For the position of Deputy National Youth Organisers, two persons were appointed and they are Perpetual Lomokie Akwada and Joseph Nyaniba Kwayaja while Ayishetu Yusif and Abdallah Toric were appointed as National Nasara Coordinators.
Ten individuals were also appointed as Deputy Communications Directors.
They are Kamal-Deen Abdulai, Joyce Zempare, Haruna Mohammed and Yaw Preko. The others are Akbar Yussif Rohullah Khomeini, Jennifer Oforiwaa Queen, Richard Asante Yeboah and Maame Yaa Aboagye.
Discharge mandate diligently
The rest of the Deputy Communications Directors are Kofi Agyapong and Richard Nyamah.
The statement congratulated all the officers and called on them to discharge their mandate diligently to justify the confidence reposed in them with the view to enhancing the party’s fortunes at all times.
