The Accra Regional Police Command has arrested a Nigerian trader for allegedly stabbing to death a fellow Nigerian over a stolen tooth brush.
the Accra Regional Police Command Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Effia Tenge said the deceased, Sunday Orga was living with the suspect, Marvelous Okere, 26, a trader, with five others in the same room along the Nungua beach Drive road when a confrontation ensued between the two over a stolen toothbrush.
“They came out of their room. Outside, the quarrel started again. The deceased slapped the suspect. So he also looked around and he found a wine bottle around. So he just picked it up and broke it, and then stabbed him over it in the head. And then he collapsed,” she added.
