The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has begun its planned two-week nationwide ‘Donate for Change’ tour, starting from the Greater Accra region.
A statement from the party issued by Kwabena Abankwaa Yeboah, the National Treasurer said the “Donate for Change” train will move through some markets and principal streets.
In the Greater Accra region, the tour will start from the party’s headquarters to Makola, Okaishie and its environs.
“On Wednesday, the train will move to Abossey Okai and Kaneshie markets. The Greater Accra tour will end on Thursday. The next stop will be the Ashanti Region.
“We urge Ghanaians to donate towards the NPP’s 2016 election campaign to save the nation from the corrupt and incompetent Mahama led administration,” added the statement.
According to the NPP, its scratch cards will be on sale during the tour.
