Beautiful screen diva Nana Ama McBrown and Actor Toosweet Annan have been announced as the Eurostar – Ghana Movie Awards 2016 “Best Dressed Female and Male Celebs” respectively on the red carpet.
The two emerged winners after careful deliberations and strict process by the Ghana Fashion Review Panel. Both Nana Ama McBrown and Tooseet Annan take home 3,000-Euro shopping voucher. Joselyn Dumas and Jackie Appiah placed second and third respectively. Dumas receives 2,000 euros shopping voucher while Jackie Appiah gets 1,500 Euros shopping voucher and actor Van Vicker who placed second in the male category receives 2,000 Euros shopping voucher whiles Henry Adofo who was third gets 1,500 Euros shopping voucher.
The entire process started with choosing of the top 10 female and male out of over 50 celebrities. The top 10 female Best Dressed were Moesha Boduong, Salma Mumin, Victory Michaels, Joselyn Dumas, Nana Ama Mamcbrown, Benedicta Gafah, Jackie Appiah, Priscilla Opoku Agyeman aka Ahuofe Patri, Gloria Sarfo and Edem Fairre. Every top ten nominee guarantee €500 shopping vouchers.

Top 10 Best Dressed Male celebs are Kalybos, Too Sweet Annan, Coded of 4×4, Harold Amenyah, Henry Adofo, Kofi Asamoah, Van Vicker, Mdoe, Dabo and Kojo Rana. All top 10 male nominees are guarantee €500 shopping vouchers.
The number was shortlisted to top 5 for both female and male. Top 5 female are Jackie Appiah, Victory Michaels, Gloria Sarfo, Joselyn Dumas and Nana Ama Mcbrown. All top 5 nominees guarantee increase to €1000 shopping vouchers.
Top 5 male are Van Vicker, Harold Amenyah, Henry Adofo, Coded of 4×4 and Toosweet . All top 5 nominees guarantee increase to €1000 shopping vouchers. The top 3 were selected and the winners were chosen out of the top 3.
After the 2016 Ghana Movie Awards, which happened on December 4 at Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra, 3 female celebrities Selley Galley, Zynnel Zuh and Nana Akua Addo who are all previous winners of the Eurostar red carpet Best Dressed prize were disqualified from the process.
According to a release by the Ghana Fashion Review Panel led by , Mr. Oscar Yao Doe who is also President & Executive Chairman Eurostar Limousine, reason for the disqualification is that “the three failed to hold themselves as Ambassadors for Ghana Fashion Review Red Carpet, and as a result we cannot associate our unique brand to such behaviour.
It’s our hope that the circumstance will improve in the near future to enable us consider their selection. We believe this decision will send a strong message that no one has a monopoly over the process”.
Eurostar Ghana Fashion Review seeks to reward best dressed celebrities appearance on the red carpet. Eurostar Global Limousines Group has invest about $200,000 awarding Ghanaian celebrities who appear on red carpets at major events in the country with several thousand Euros worth of shopping voucher.
