Ghanaian musician, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel, has celebrated President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the implementation of the Free Senior High School (SHS) programme.
Mzbel, who was an ardent critic of the New Patriotic Party and the then candidate Akufo-Addo during the 2016 electioneering season, visited the Achimota School in Accra to register her son to enable him benefit from the programme. Her son gained admission into Achimota School this year.
After successfully registering her son on Monday, September 11, Mzbel wrote on her Facebook page: “Free education here we come!!! It’s actually true oo! Hahaaa Nana well done oo!! Onto the next deal… One Corner One Dancer! Inshallah”
The Akufo-Addo-led government’s flagship programme, the Free Senior High School, begins today, Monday, 11 September as first-year students who were successfully placed in various SHSs report officially.
