A 22-year-old man, Eric Kwasi Buabeng, has revealed he is having nightmares after he picked a ring from the floor to put on his finger.
The ring, which can no longer be removed from his finger, is believed to have originated from a mysterious source and is causing the finger to rot, oozing pus and worms.
Speaking on Ghana Yensom on Accra100.5FM on Friday February 10, he said: “I picked it (the ring) from the ground and put it on my finger and that was all. It can no longer be removed. It hurts my finger a lot.
“I took it to some spiritualists but to no avail. I have also prayed about it with some pastors but it is not working. No spiritualist has been able to tell me the source of the ring, but I believe it is from a mysterious source.”
When probed further by the host to reveal whether he ever visited a spiritualist or ‘jujuman’ for which he was given the ring, he said: “I have four friends who are engaged in ritual money making (sakawa) but I no longer move with them. I have visited some juju men near Kumasi before but that was when I was seriously sick. But I wasn’t cured.”
He has appealed for support to get the ring off his finger.
