Adwoa Agyarkwa Anyimadu-Antwi, the first daughter of Asante Akim Central MP in the Ashanti Region, Kwame Anyimadu-Antwi, has committed suicide in a hostel over bad exam results.
The body of the 18-year-old student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), who was reading petrochemical engineering, was found hanging on Friday
A suicide note read: “I’m sorry to disappoint you mummy and daddy for not being the girl you want me to be”.
The school has informed the family of the incident and the police are investigating the matter.
Adwoa’s boady has been deposited at the morgue.
