A mentally challenged woman whose name was only given as Daavi has been killed at Maamobi, a suburb of Accra.
The lifeless body of the woman, said to be in her thirties, was found behind the Maamobi General Hospital in the early hours of Wednesday May 17.
Some parts of her genitalia had been removed, according to Accra News’ Jedidiah Anaafi who was at the scene to report.
He said the body, which was found in a pool of blood, had been picked up by the Kotobabi Police.
Police are appealing to members of the general public with information about the relatives of the deceased to volunteer information.
